Experience one of three fully furnished three season domes at Rainbow Valley Campground
  • Each dome is 8 meters in diameter and 4 meters tall
  • Each dome is fully furnished including bedding
  • Rainbow and Gem Domes sleep 2 (queen-sized bed)

  • PLEASE NOTE (Until 2027): Expansion of the Rainbow Valley Bridge on Whitemud Freeway, adjacent to the Campground, has begun.  Visit the City of Edmonton website for complete overview. A large lay down and equipement area now exists across the creek, approximately 150m away from the closest campsite.  Traffic flow over Rainbow Valley Bridge deck and along Rainbow Valley Road may be affected throughout the summer.  We thank you for your patience at this time.(click for image in new window)

To ensure the enjoyment of Rainbow Valley by all, please adhere to the following
guidelines during your stay

  • Guided Dome Check-In time: 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • Check out time: no later than 11:00 a.m.
  • Quiet hours are between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
  • "Partying" in the campground will not be tolerated.
  • Each dome must be occupied by at least one person 21 years of age or older. Registered guests are responsible for the behavior of their group and/or visitors.
  • Alcohol must be kept within the boundaries of the dome site.
  • Dome site must be kept clean at all times. Please use receptacles provided for garbage and recyclables appropriately.
  • All visitors must park in the main parking lot.
  • NO VISITORS AFTER 10:00 p.m.
  • One vehicle is permitted to park at the site, provided there is room. NO PARKING ON GRASS.
  • Extra vehicles, including towed vehicles, must park in the main parking lot. Exceptions may be granted on a per case basis.
  • Dogs must be on a leash at all times and cannot be left unattended.
  • 14-day maximum stay throughout the season.
  • Rules are strictly enforced; violation will result in your departure without refund.
  • Rainbow Valley is not responsible for any damage to or loss of property nor liable for personal injury or fatality resulting from natural and man made occurrences including but not limited to weather conditions, including lightning, wind, hail and other weather-related events; falling trees, branches, and other objects; collision with trees; fire, vandalism and theft.

  • August 2 - 5 (Heritage Day)
  • August 31, September 1 & 2 (Labour Day)
All above dates are inclusive

  • Liquor Ban will be in effect during long weekends.
Rainbow Valley Campground may, with or without warning, refuse service to, or ask to leave the campground entirely, any person or persons abusing Campground staff, not adhering to the above guidelines, or in conflict with local bylaws.
